Terms of Service & Tour Regulations
Welcome to Machu Picchu Premium. By accessing our services and confirming a reservation with us, you acknowledge and agree to the policies, terms, and conditions detailed below.
Contract & Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed once we have received the required deposit and issued your official booking voucher with confirmed itinerary dates.
Deposit & Final Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 40% to 50% is required at the time of booking to secure entrance tickets to Machu Picchu, train reservations, and professional guide allocations. The remaining balance must be settled upon your arrival in Cusco before the commencement of the tour.
Cancellations, Date Changes & Refunds
Because government permits (such as Inca Trail permits and Machu Picchu entrance tickets) are issued by the Peruvian Ministry of Culture strictly under the passenger’s name and passport number, they are 100% non-refundable and non-transferable under Peruvian law.
Travel Insurance & Medical Requirements
All travelers are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel and medical insurance that covers high-altitude hiking, emergency evacuation, trip interruption, and medical expenses before arriving in Peru.
Force Majeure & Safety Alterations
Machu Picchu Premium will not be held liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by force majeure events, including extreme weather conditions, landslides, strikes, or train delays. Our team will make all reasonable adjustments to ensure your safety.
Summary of Cancellation Terms
Permits issued by the Peruvian Ministry of Culture cannot be refunded or transferred. For operational components (hotels, transport), cancellations received 30+ days prior to arrival are subject to partial credit vouchers.
